British Prime Minister David Cameron: Obama 'reset ...the moral authority of the entire free world'

"Barack understands that the means matter every bit as much as the ends. Yes, America must do the right thing but to provide moral leadership America must do it in the right way too," Cameron said during a toast at the White House state dinner in his honor, according to a pool report. "The first president I studied in school was Theodore Roosevelt. He talked of speaking softly and carrying a big stick. That is Barack's approach, and in following it he has pressed the reset button on the moral authority of the entire free world."

Cameron also hailed Obama's wisdom, saying he "has not rushed into picking fights but has stewarded America's resources of hard and soft power

***"Barack understands that the means matter every bit as much as the ends.,,*** Kind of like, "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun" - ; is that what you're referring to Mr. Prime Minister?

Sounds to me like Cameron is on the Obama campaign’s payroll. What a sniveling dog.

Funny. I remember the connection to Teddy and I was thinking of that phrase and I thought, Obama is exactly the opposite. all he has is talk.

Alas. Just when it seems that Mister Cameron has ran out of feet to put in his mouth, he finds yet more. How did that veto thing work out in Brussels for you . . . did the POTUS fix their moral authority to make them proceed in spite of the UK; is that what happened?

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”

A quote by Barak Hussein Obama that didn’t transfer on the previous post for some reason. Big Sis maybe?

food for thought from a previous posting...

Bush and Cheney were aware.

I think the problem was that the muslim world had already mobilized to demonize them and already had Obama in position to take the office. Demonization/confusion/shake Americas foundations... and it WAS overwhelming. Globally. The muslim voice spoke.

When 9/11 occurred, I think Bush wanted to hammer Islam... but was read the riot act by them of the ramifications so he sought a different program, surround Iran, the root. Not a bad compromise.

Now, Iran enjoys the cover of their man in OUR White House and those pre thought efforts are seemingly off the table..

Now we have the exact converse, Obama using America to further Islam. Look at his MB and the north Africa Caliphate. Moamar Ghadaffi? What crap!

And yes, they are encapsulating Israel.

Once Israel goes, so does western man and in the meanwhile Obama is doing everything to screw the hub, America.

We are under attack by our own White House, he is resetting western man’s world to equate us and our opportunities to that of islamic third worlders!

David Cameron has destroyed the last vestiges of conservatism the same way Mitt Romney would if he becomes President. The UK Conservative Party probably would not even be able to put up a good show if an election were held now and could come in third.

"I saw a banner on FNC that he bought Zero a new barbeque grill, but I haven't see it in Drudge."

That's actually the other way around. The White House bought a big U.S. made grill, specially designed with parts only built in the U.S. for Cameron.

Original thread:

Grill

“He has pressed the reset button on the moral authority of the entire free world”

He’s certainly done that. He’s pressed the reset button on contract law: he’s reset the laws of property and he’s trying to reset the Constitution.

But whose morals, I wonder?
Those of Christ or those of Marx?
Kant? Hegel? Nietzsche? Plato? Zeno? Sartre?

Makes quite a bit of difference whose values we’re resetting to...

What's with the insults towards Cameron? He's a Brit with proper manners.

I know you think he should tell Zero he's a bloody useless lump, but as a guest of this country, he will treat the host and the country with proper respect - due or not. Unlike the classless BHO who has the temerity to return Churchill's bust and gives CD's of his speeches as gifts.

He's a Brit with proper manners.

Polite things can be said in the furtherance of "proper manners". This unnecessary and unsupported fawning goes far beyond that.

Agreed. This post-modern brand of “conservatism” is nauseating and doomed to failure.
