More voters are putting the blame on President Obama's polices when it comes to today's still-struggling economy.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 48% still place more blame on the economic recession that began under President George W. Bush, but that ties the lowest finding in nearly three years of tracking.
Now, nearly as many (46%) say the current president's policies are more to blame, the highest finding since August 2010.

Can’t fix stupid people, unfortunately.
Lowest I ever saw was something like 17% blaming Obama's in-discretionary spending and money printing as cause for recession woes.
Now it's basically 50/50 within the MOE.
Bush spent like a Democrat and still it’s not enough. Stay out da Bushes. They suck. There is not one dimes difference between both parties.
we have many dumb people who listen tot he lefts propaganda called the MSM.
years ago they blamed Bush for the high gas but now the lefts propaganda media have now told people that it is not obama’s fault.
Quickly people forget that the Dems had two years of pure power, quickly they forget that the Dems had congress when the economy went south under Bush.
If there were any proof that the biggest enemy to this country is the left group called the MSM then one only has to look at their reporting under Bush with high gas and under obama with high gas and then their talking heads actually sit there saying it is not biased in their reporting
it is Bush’s fault but when asked are you happy with the direction of the country they say no.
it’s the MSM and their B/S which is telling millions on their local news at night and those millions sit there and take it all in.
We truly have millions of stupid dumb people
I don’t believe Obama will get anywhere near 50% of the vote this time; 100% of Americans are impacted by the devaluation of our dollars, and there is no way Obama’s media can spin that. The high gas prices and unemployment are the icing on the cake; Obama has no chance as long as many people can remember the “before-times” (more jobs available, gasoline literally costing less than spring water, etc.).
Thank you Rev. Jackson.
When did the recession during Bush’s term begin? It started after January 20th, 2007. What event coincides with the start of the recession? Let’s see? Could it be that the DemocRATS took control of both the House and Senate??? BHO’s name, along with Pelousi, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, Schumer, et al, are all attached to this recession. Why is no one in the media pointing this fact out???
I remember the same poll about a year ago. I remember it was a lot more blame on Bush then. Does anyone have a link to that poll still?
People are beyond stupid.
Some people say “
Here we go again with the “some say” crap!!!!
“We truly have millions of stupid dumb people”
100 MILLION!
Of course it doesn't help that most people have short memories and a poor grasp of how the economy works, so with Obama constantly blaming Bush, the media backing him up, and no one speaking up to defend Bush, it's natural for a lot of people to think Bush is to blame.
It varies from time to time: site:rasmussenreports.com bush obama blame
I prefer to spread the love. I blame it 100 percent on Democrats.
Has someone informed the sheep that it`s been more than three years since Bush left office.
There`s some truth to Politico`s John Harris` contention there`s a lot of stupidity in the American electorate.
I wish they would call and poll me.
“It will be a trick to escape the $4.50+ gas prices being pinned, not on Bush, but on Obama.”
Wats a matta w’ you, man?
Don’t you realize that we’re paying up to $5.00 for gas because the evil oil companies are gouging us to death and hoarding billions for themselves? Don’t you believe the greedy Republicans that run them don’t pay enough taxes?
Get with the program, son.
(the sarcasm may be off for a moment here on FR, but there are tens of millions who will be fed that line, swallow it gladly....and then mark the ballot for you-know-who)
48% blame Bush. 47% don’t pay taxes.
Coincidence?
