Well obviously, a picture like that destroys the man completely. For goodness sake, he looks like - well - a pretty standard middle aged man enjoying a rest in the sun. A bit thick around the middle perhaps, but probably a good deal less than the average voter of his age.

Has politics become so shallow that something like this carries more weight with political observers than boring things like - oh - integrity? Policy? Beliefs?
