The only reason they washed the road was because they are really afraid of the power inherent in an annoiting-
If it has no power, why should they wash it/?
Simple logic.

Its just a symbolic gesture to show that we can poke a little bit of fun at the Polk Under Prayer gesture. Were not going to tolerate their bigotry,
Yeah that's hilarious, call it joking then call them bigots. Tee hee hee.

“Were not going to tolerate their bigotry, Wachs said”.
It’s amazing how easy it is to be tolerant; unless it pertains to something you don’t like. I wonder what Ms. Wachs “coexist” friends think about her statement.

The liberal atheists must have too much time on their hands. They have nothing better to do than watch and backbite Christians who are practicing their faith. If they don’t believe in God, than why do they care at all about this?

So according to the atheists, angels in heaven have been deputized by the county police? I wonder how soon before they enter a cemetry to cleanse that of any blessings it may receive.

If Christians went around anointing public restrooms with oil, maybe atheists would come along and clean them up? Sounds like a good plan to me.

I read where most evil doers enter the county via the airport. I hope they haven’t run out of oil.

This anointment ritual was to call out the angels to check each car that entered the county, to make sure they were Christian, and if they werent Christian, they would either follow Christian beliefs or get put in jail, Wachs told ABC News. What a stupid statement. Christians certainly would ask for salvation for those who aren't saved but the jail part was likely an ignorant statement made up by the anti God so called atheists to put the Christians in a bad light.

Living in their heads rent-free.
I'm thinking this is a bizarre form of psychological pacing or leading: so we should escalate to see how far they'll go, and then turn around and laugh at them for participating in superstitions that they don't even believe in!
Cheers!

Don’t we [Christians] need to get back to the basics?
“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”
(John 3:17)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“For He[God] made Him[Jesus]to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:3-4)
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

Ellen Beth Wachs, the president of Humanists of Florida Association and Atheists of Florida, said that she feels unwelcome as an atheist in the county. Maybe it's because of pulling bonehead stunts like this that she feels "unwelcome."
Rather than just ignoring it, like a normal atheist would, she's showing herself to be anti-Christian, and this is her way of symbolically "overwriting" the Christian scent with her own, in the dog world, she would have just peed on the road. This is her version.
