Exactly!

These Christians were severely misguided at best.

Only Patriarch and Prophets anointed THINGS in Old Testament times; Jesus and the Apostles anointed PEOPLE and ONLY people. Patriarchs and Prophets they are not...false apostles they are.

Also a prayer that all non-Christians would get in trouble with the gummit — that’s rather short sighted and petty if not altogether phony. They and these atheists probably deserve each other.

The unusual oil put on the road, with fervent prayer, may well have received The Father's attention before the dutiful, laborious prayers of the sanctimonious. The LORD is not so boxed in as many Christians think. He sees the heart and loves fervent prayer, which may well have also been expressed physically in the act of placing the oil on the road. He desires for us to have the faith of children, which this act may reflect.

Remember that Jesus, Himself, did unusual things such as spitting on clay and anointing blind eyes, that then could see. I am not saying the LORD honored what they did, because I am not sure, but neither am I sure that He did not.

Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

Luke 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

Luke 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

Luke 11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
