If the GOP-e pulls convention levers to install Romney, there will be hell to pay.
Added benefit:
This all makes for great publicity.
Political theatre, is far more intriguing than Obama’s teleprompters.
IMHO this could absolutely help Republicans in November.
You know they will if they have to. Look at all the other shenanigans they pulled. Ballot access. Awarding delegates improperly.
Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin otherwise, it will be Romney's. Everyone else are team players. The GOP-e needs a cleaning out. It would be heavenly to see it this coming year so real reforms can begin.
Bring it on! I think it absolutely will have more people tune in.
This phraseology makes it sound like he has a chance to win the conservative vote. He'll never win mine. If he gets the nomination, I'll vote down ticket but I will not vote for Romney.

Newt/Palin
Then we 'throw away' the jackwagon named Obama!
From Kenya only lies emit Our POTUS may not be legit He's all for one-party rule And the media thinks that's cool So the real birth certificate he'll never remit
Countdown until Jackwagon leaves Office: 308 days as of March 18, 2012.
Something to ponder.......knowing the viciousness of the state run media and the communist regime in place there is no one person to set thier alynski tactics on with any definition. Seems like the conservative wing is forcing the GOP to the convention floor giving the people more of a hand in this while using an an Alynsiky tactic on the media and the regime limiting the amount of time they have to our candidate Conservative coup?
You know, thee comes a point where mentioning a third party run might make sense. The GOPE will never allow a conservative candidate.
In case of that sad event, we need a third party, it might take years to establish it as a force in politics but the republican party will be officially dead if Mitt is nominated.
The big question is, will we have a Reaganesque compromise with the establishment, a la George H. W. Bush as VP, or will we have what we've always gotten with a losing ticket, with the plodding, leaden establishment pick headlining?
I don't know, but this may be our last, best shot at righting things.
Hang in there Newt.
I had followed politics since '68 but was never passionate like I was, for the first time, in '76.
Of course we didn't have 14 TV networks doing 7x24 coverage back them and no internet. We were reliant upon the evening newscast and the endless flow of newspaper reports.
I bought the SF Chronicle every day as they were closest to the action at the Cow Palace...but I suspect every major paper in the world was there by the final count.
Screaming. Fist-fights in the aisles. Shout-downs. Complete chaos.
Then Reagan announced his VP choice before, I believe, the 3rd ballot. Some NE LIBERAL (Weicker?) and the Mississippi delegation walked out, shortly thereafter announcing their support of Ford and ending the fight.
Millions of us dropped to the floor weeping.
A crushing defeat.
WHEN Mittens fails to secure the Republican nomination for President of the United States on the first ballot then the Establishment will go with Plan ‘B’.
