If Mitt is the nominee (shudder) he will almost have to pick Santorum or West in order to win. Just MHO. Palin would just be too much of a distraction for the press to chew on.
West would be a good V.P. for a number of reasons....
(1) TEA Party people would be pleased
(2) The GOP would have a shot at peeling away part of the black vote (a small part, even 10%, would help)
(3) You would have a guy with military experience
(4) It would help the GOP carry Florida in November.
The downside: we would still have someone we don’t especially like at the top of the ticket.
How ‘bout Sarah Palin for Energy Secretary or head of the RNC....or both? And John Bolton as Secretary of State?
Ted Nugent as head of the BATF? Ron Paul as the head of the TSA?
A Romney/Santorum ticket would be a sure loser, and Romney knows it. He would pick a fellow abortionist like Christie, mark my words
