I agree with most of your assessment on Republican candidates.
Jeb Bush/Daniel ticket might be the most appealing to Republican base. And Daniel might accept that as VP nominee doesn’t have to do much. But not many of us will trust another Bush.
I think at the end the Party have to hold their nose or their breath to let the whole process run by itself at brokered convention because they see the result (Romney damaged good)when they interfere.

I have no desire to insult you. I hope you are right. I am ‘all in’ for Newt myself, but at this point has little hope for the nomination. The convention will be domainated by establishment Republicans and social conservative, the two groups that are blocking Newt right now. Too bad, he really is our best hope. It is funny how our opposition knows it, but we can’t figure it out.
