Yes and he should have done so long time ago. Romney would lose the elections to Obama mainly on the Bain Capital issue, that is unless the gas prices are still high by elections day and then he would have a good chance to beat Obama but in that case even a ham sandwich would have a good chance of beating Obama.

When Gingrich and Perry brought the Bain Capital issue few months ago they were quickly shutdown by many on our side and of course the establishment Republican who support Romney under the claim that attacking on Romney Bain Capital is an attack on Capitalism and that is absolute BS. Bain Capital is not the Capitalism that majority of Americans believes including a majority of conservatives and it represents the ugly side of business and most importantly it is a great political loser.

Someone wisely said: Capitalism can defeat Obama but Bain Capital cannot”.

Then in FL Mitt pounded Newt with negative ads - $2Million/day for 10 DAYS! Including that deceitful :30 sec news lead-in piece by Brokaw! Mitt has no scruples and I do NOT want him as president.

The only thing I think I ever heard Rachel Maddow say that was absolutely correct was the following. She surmised that the fact that Romney and his supporters were SO insistent that it was OFF LIMITS to attack him for what he did at Bain Capital was because they all knew it was a huge glass jaw for him. They couldn’t let the attacks continue because they knew it would sink him, just as it did in South Carolina, one of Romney’s biggest, broadest and most embarrassing losses in this primary. Romney’s bain tenure shows, if nothing else, his absolute coldhearted, unethical win-at-all-costs-and-no-matter-who-you-have-to-crush-in-the-process attitude. It is totally consistent with the horrendously mean-spirited, heartless and dishonest way he’s behaved in this primary. And this sort of amoral attitude and behavior make him decidedly unqualified to be president, if not outright dangerous in the office.

If you can show proof that Bain took taxpayer money, or used political connections to disadvantage a competitor, I'll listen and pay attention.

If not, I suggest you put a lid on it. Newt's biggest mistake was attacking Romney from the left on this issue and now it appears that Santorum may be emulating him.

There are a lot of reasons not to vote for Romney, but as far as I can tell, Bain is not one of them.
