President Obama "is not concerned" that he will be blamed for high gas prices, according to his spokesman, notwithstanding Obama's recent comment that he doesn't want high gas prices in an election year.
"The president is not concerned about who gets the blame. The president is concerned about making sure that we have the right policies to deal with this challenge for the long-term," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in today's press briefing.

Thats because he is going to dump emergency reserve oil onto the market just ahead of the election.
“The president is not concerned about who gets the blame. The president is concerned about making sure that we have the right policies to deal with this challenge for the long-term,”
That’s going to be the WH meme for every Oblunder that gets brought up this election season.
Right and if you believe that steam pile of dog crap, then I have a deed to a bridge in Brooklyn, I would like to sell to you.
Another day. Another lie.
So there won’t be any when Iran blows a tanker and scuttles the Hormuz, right?
He’s not concerned about fielding blame for anything. Could this be because he has engineered that fundamental transformation of the U.S. he promised in 2008 such that he doesn’t need to worry about elections anymore???
that means he is concerned. It’s always the complete opposite of whatever they (the White House) say.
“The president is not concerned about who gets the blame.”
A refreshing bit of honesty. According to the Doublespeak translator that equates to “We do whatever the hell we want and do not give the slightest damn what you or anyone thinks.”
So yea, an honest statement on their part.
Actually, some of the things he says are really honest. Like -
“We are going to tranfer the wealth.”
“Energy prices must rise.”
etc.
Of course hussein and his cohorts in crime have ideas about what the "right policies" are that are undoubtedly different from what you or I believe are the right policies.
For hussein and company, the right policies are those that cripple the economy, render an ever larger percentage of the population dependent on the government, require us to surrender even more liberties and freedoms to the government, drive energy costs up to the point that lame-brained crony capitalist cohorts of hussein's can make money on all those impractical "green" energy boondoggles ...
You get the idea. hussein's policies for the long term are the wrong policies. The only "challenge" he sees is figuring out how much of this excrement he can foist off on us before Congress wakes up and impeaches is backside.
Donks are blaming the higher gas prices on George W. Bush. Bush has been out of office for over three years, yet he is still one of the Emmanuel Goldsteins of the Regime.
And after The One’s coronation as President for Life, there will be a mandatory daily two minute hate. “It’s Bush’s fault! Hate Bush! Hate Bush! Hate hate hate Bush! Waaaahhhhhh!”
I think that Bibi is going to make sure that Bozzo gets blamed for the high gas prices!
Libs don’t seem to understand that gasoline prices are set by futures traders. It’s all about the perceptions of futures traders - how they view the future supply vs. projected demand. They therefore do not see that President Obama’s making one anti-drilling comment after the next spooks the market and drives up prices. President Obama could easily drive down gasoline prices by doing a few simple things, like signing Keystone, opening up ANWR, moving forward with oil leases in the Gulf, working to open up the entire west coast to drilling.
True. It’s like with muslims though. “Energy prices will skyrocket” and “Kill the infidel” somehow get processed in the modern American brain and come out as “He didn’t REALLY mean that energy costs will skyrocket” and “They don’t REALLY believe what the Koran tells them about killing non muslims.”
Stupid people shouldn’t breed. But they do. A lot.
