Maybe the new Archbishop - soon to be a Cardinal(?)- William Lori will have a bit of influence over his Washington DC counterpart and help the development of a Catholic spine in the DC area.

Bishop Lori was a guest on “The World Over” with Raymond Arroyo on EWTN this past week, and it was replayed last evening at 9 pm (CDT). I think it will be on again during the next few days.

Yes, indeed, the more orthodox, traditional clerics are rising in the American Church. Here in Minnesota, the liberal leftists are still lamenting the appointment of John Nienstadt to the head of the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis. After this was announced about 2 years ago, the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, promptly declared their independence of the archdiocese - in effect - declaring that they did not want to be under a more conservative, “true” Catholic, archbishop. At least they are honest about their liberalism. I would no longer consider this institution to be a Catholic university. I have not looked at their website to see whether they are still claiming to be Catholic.

Deceitful idiots!
