-> Santorum’s picked up at least 15 delegates here, maybe more depending on how the splits work out.

Stop, and think about this. Rick cannot beat Romney, so how can he beat Obama. People, there is no ground swell for Rick. He is getting dems voting for him. Please look at the CBS internal info-nearly half of his voters voted for him as a protest to Romney only.

“Stop, and think about this.”

Think about what? Rick fought hard here, lost, but still pulled delegates.

“Rick cannot beat Romney”

He has beaten Romney in 10 states so far. Who else has done as well?

“People, there is no ground swell for Rick.”

Look at the counties. He won every county south of Springfield save one. He won almost every single republican county there is to win in Illinois.

Now, maybe you see that and conclude that it’s democrats voting for him, but I look at that and say:

Romney is the choice of the big city folks, the moderates, the liberals within the republican party. This is why he consistantly wins liberal counties.

Santorum wins the conservative, republican counties.

You’re right, they are voting for Romney as a protest. As a protest against the same nonsense we’ve had shoved down our throats from the Obama crew.

Why should we listen to Cook County? Why should we let them decide for us our nominee?

Please, answer me this, because I sure don’t see why.
