I disagree; the reason that Obama has had some difficulty is because he has united large groups of people against his policies. (What is near unbelievable is the Congress, even when they could seize upon an opportunity to do something that would garner some support from the people throw it all away: exactly like they did with the Fast & Furious / BATFE kabuki theater.)

Things would be much worse with someone who can get away with more of the same “because he’s a republican” & [some] people don’t realize that the things he allows/encourages are precisely what he should be opposing.

Oh man, you’re touching on a sore point there! Especially WRT the law. Some of the thing I’ve heard (along the lines of “you’re right, but... we don’t want X/we don’t have the authority”) when I point out to people inconsistencies between Constitutional law and what is implemented.

Now, if there was Justice, the EPA budget would be reduced by 30,000 a day for five years and given to the couple. If you can make up five figure fines on a whim and sue a thousand people and win one case, you have won the lottery, and destroyed a thousand lives.

Time to shuck this ear of corn. Flush Congress, the bowl is full.
