Thanks Obama!

(seriously, we do have him to thank for this)

I am goinhg out shopping this weekend for a nice new .410 shotgun I saw.

Small enough for indoor home defense if needed, without taking out a support wall

I met the Prez of ruger recently. I thought he was really great guy. He was excited about his products and was standing there demonstrating them.

Did they recently introduce a 1911-style pistol?

Ruger’s compact 9 mm. their LC9, is a nice CCW pistol. Laserlyte makes a side mount laser for it.

They have a lot of models that people like.

Their new lightweight compact (LCR) revolver (38/357). The equivalent small semi auto LCP (38/357). Small 9mm LC9. Larger SR9 semiauto.

I have the LCP .380 and the fullsize SR9 9mm. I am thinking about trying to trade them together for an AR of some sort.

Wouldn’t mind getting me a 10/22 setup to shoot pennies at 100 yards. Would also be good for the kids to shoot with. I let them shoot the AR now, which has more than manageable recoil for just about anyone, but is still a bit much gun for a 10 year old(girl). Next birthday, I’ll turn’em loose on the PTR-91 and Saiga-12. :p

I’m not sure anybody has even mentioned the new Ruger .22 automatic...the SR22.
It looks like the first .22 auto I would consider owning.
