The communist part is secondary, however. The communist ideology is what is advanced to justify the fascist behavior of the Won.
Consider China. A capitalist paradise, as long as you don't cross the Party, who still ostensibly worship Marx, but actually worship only their own power and the wealth it provides. China is capitalism managed to support a fascist ruling group who cite Communism as their source of legitimacy.

They do. But it helps to have an election first. It's that legitimacy thing, don't you see. Duly elected. Check. Then consolidate power, and no more need for free elections!
