1. I believe nothing from the msm

2. In the situation where there is a death, you always have to look at who survived. They could actually be a killer. Lots of lies get told in the case of a death. Here, the kid was not inside someone’s house which would make it plain that there was a right to protect oneself.

3. My legal analysis: the kid had a right to be where he was, as you said he was 100 feet from “where he was staying.” Some grown man was following him. They got into a fistfight and the grown man escalated by pulling a gun. Should not have fired. Grown man not hurt. “Had grass on his back” oooooooo serious stuff. (sarc) Had a head injury, what, a red mark from a fist? You don’t escalate to a killing when you are in a fist fight with someone who is smaller (although perhaps taller) than you.

NOW DO YOU SEE?

Police chief answers Trayvon Martin FAQ

According to Florida Statute 776.032: 776.032 Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use of force:

(1) A person who uses force as permitted in s. 776.012, s. 776.013, or s. 776.031 is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of such force, unless the person against whom force was used is a law enforcement officer, as defined in s. 943.10(14), who was acting in the performance of his or her official duties and the officer identified himself or herself in accordance with any applicable law or the person using force knew or reasonably should have known that the person was a law enforcement officer. As used in this subsection, the term “criminal prosecution” includes arresting, detaining in custody, and charging or prosecuting the defendant.

(2) A law enforcement agency may use standard procedures for investigating the use of force as described in subsection (1), but the agency may not arrest the person for using force unless it determines that there is probable cause that the force that was used was unlawful.

The kid was 6'3 and 240lb I read, weigh varies by story.

Some one on top of you hitting you can be life or death matter.

I know of a couple of cases where a person was killed by one punch to the head.

You can get into fist fights if you want very serious injury or death can result.

The way I see it is a media feeding frenzy against CCW,gun owners and neighbor watch groups.
