Baptism doesn’t determine whether or not you are saved. It’s an outward expression of your commitment, but it doesn’t save you.

I think you will find more of us disagreeing with you than agreeing with you. If as you say, ANY path to salvation MUST include baptism Then my Dad who gave his heart to the Lord and said the sinners prayer days before passing away in Hospice, never made it. He burns. Soldiers and accident victims in their last moments of life with a priest or minister leaning over them asking if their heart is right with God, are wasting their last breaths responding if they were never baptized.

Only in the Catholic church, because baptism is one of their works based sacraments.

This debate is hundreds of years old so I doubt we will settle it here, but I disagree. Baptism is a response to salvation, not a means of salvation.
