(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both)

While she is somewhat right - healthcare is expensive as hell for a lot of self-employed folks, she’s clearly out of touch with Americans. You don’t just go become a writer or photographer or “whatever” unless you want to live in a van down the river while pursuing your “whatever” dreams.

Not insane, well a little insane, but extremely rich and extremely out of touch with typical Americans.
If you were as rich as she is, sure you could go become a writer, photographer, or "whatever" without a second thought.
Then again, if you were as rich as she was, you wouldn't have to worry about getting decent healthcare in the first place.

...it allows you to leave your job and become a photographer, a writer, a musician -- or whatever.OK! I want a career testing fishing tackle, ski equipment and sports stadium seats...oh, and Irish pubs. A modest expense account seems to be a requirement- I could get by on $100K a year. The reports I write will be first rate!

Using Nancy's logic we'll also be buying them each a house soon (oh, wait...maybe we already did...)

This is just my opinion but...that woman is genuinely insane. You took the words right off my keyboard.
Between Pelosi and Reid we're running an outpatient mental health clinic on Capitol Hill.
To: Nachum
You can have a job and still become a photographer, a writer, a musician — or whatever.

How convenient that there are already 40+ million Americans out of work, already doing “whatever” in the words of the minority leader. How is it that these people have more registered voters than the quasi-semi-conservative party?

I always wanted to live in a utopian paradise! And, I'd like everything to be made out of chocolate too... trees, fire hydrants, buildings, puppies...

So the Founders envisioned a government that enables drifters? Yeah, she’s nutz.

Actually I think she said those things 2 years ago, not today? But who cares about accuracy by the media in this day and age?

“You want to be a photographer or a writer or a musician, whatever — an artist, you want to be self-employed, if you want to start a business, you want to change jobs, you no longer are prohibited from doing that because you cant have access to health care, especially because you do not want to put your family at risk, she said.”
The bastardization of the Founding Fathers’ intent here is just mind-numbing. Yes, they believed in being free to pursue that trade which suits you. No, they did not believe you should have that pursuit underwritten by your fellow citizen.

Oh, now I get it. How clever of them... they’re already getting a jump on things by insuring that as many people as possible get that needed “nudge” to separate from their employers so they can get started on “pretty much anything”.
How thoughtful of our leaders!
To: Nachum
This is what our founders had in mind -- ever expanding opportunity for people. I doubt that they intended for everyone to have an opportunity to be a tick on my backside.

Did 0bama and his handlers have a meeting with Pelosi earlier this week?: "Get out there, Nancy, and make statements linking 0bamacare to the Constitution for the Justices to hear before the SCOTUS arguments begin'..
HER PSY-OPS ARE SO DAMN OBVIOUS!
