The fines, impounding fees generate INCOME for the city, do they not?
If the illegals cannot afford to get their cars out of the lot in a timely fashion the cars go to auction, don’t they?
I thought liberals LOVED fines, fees, tickets and taxes. Why are they cutting off this revenue source?
They will triple the cost of fines and impound fees for the sorry person who had the nerve to be legal; it’ll happen soon enough for the misfortunate one who can’t escape Lost Angel-Ass, CA.
Most of the money goes to tow companies and the courts. The majority of the auctions are by the tow companies for unpaid impound costs. The illegals often just leave the car behind and buy another one at a curbside used car lot.
