Interestingly, Mr. Bonaparte is the highest ranking city official who is calling to wait for the results of the independent investigation before piling on the police department. The majority of the city council gave the police chief a no confidence vote and told him to step aside temporarily, essentially deeming him guilty until proven innocent.
Mr. Bonaparte has it right. It's the other way around.
