Zimmerman was not on duty as part of his Neighborhood Watch duties, which should not be considered a "hobby," but rather, concerned citizens getting involved in protecting their property and that of their neighbors. Why does Newt consider it to be "dangerous?"
Chasing down criminals on the street isn't like playing tiddly winks.
James Woods in "The Hard Way":
"Youre not gonna learn what it means to be a cop by eating hot dogs and picking your teeth and asking stupid questions. We live this job. Its something we are, not something we do! Every time a cop walks up to a car and has to give a speeding ticket, he knows he may have to kill someone...or be killed himself. Thats not something you step into by strapping on a rubber gun and riding around all day. You get to go back to your million dollar beach house and your bimbos and your b*** j*** and you get 17 takes to get it right. We get one take. It lasts our whole lives. We mess it up...and were dead."
Not surprised at Obama mouthing off before all the facts are known.
Remember the beer summit?
But a little surprised at Santorum and Newt failing to keep their mouths shut when it would have been appropriate to do so.
Nobody knows all the facts yet and that’s all they needed to say.
