What's At Stake: Twenty of the state's 46 delegates are up for grabs Saturday, divided proportionately among all candidates who receive more than 25 percent of the vote in the state. 699 precincts still out—and 457 of these are in Jefferson or Orleans.

Right now Rick is carrying every parish in the state except Orleans Parish. Amazing!

But will he take 50% of the Parish—if he is to break 50 statewide, a plurality will not hack it, esp. with so much of Orleans out.

If Newt can’t win in the deep South, what is the point. Women hate him and I doubt his trophy wife standing next to him helps. It is time to rally behind the only one who can beat Romney. I am a Newt supporter but it is obvious he can’t win anymore states.

Pray for America

CNN basically saying LA a bunch of uneducated hicks who didn’t know any better. Unbelievable!

Yeah I heard that too and obviously don’t agree with that. They are disgusting but I just can’t stand Fox News on these type of nights.

Thought you would enjoy this. Got a letter in the mail this week with a weird sticker about anyone tampering with the mail can go to jail. Low and behold, it had a Rick for President sticker. Here it is festooned on my Buick Roadmaster Wagon that I use for slumlording. I am sure it irritates the Leftist and deadbeats that see it in Allentown and Bethlehem where I have my properties.

Don't panic wagon enthusiasts. I put the sticker on a magnate. It is not stuck to the woodgrain. That would be an abomination.

Out of those remaining parishes in Orleans, you’re looking at 3-4000 votes..total. There’s not a high vote number in NO proper. Romney probably gets another 2,200 votes there and Santorum another 1,300, if that.

there were three questions about the etch a sketch comment in the exit polling. It did not seem to be a major factor, but it did have an impact.

That's the kind of thing that people like to claim didn't affect their vote. That's because they think they'd sound stupid if something that silly-sounding had an effect on them. So they may not be willing to admit to themselves. But the fact is it certainly reinforced a perception of Romney that they already had or was already in the back of their head.

Per Louisiana Republican Party Rules: Break 50% and you get all the Delegates.

South La has a heavy Catholic pop. Santa might just squeek out a 51% win.

Good news.

do they round up?

When Rick has been at 50% according to CNN, it’s really been 49.6-49.8%

Bossier Parish (Shreveport) is only 75% reported and they’re going heavily for Santorum over Romney (right now 56 - 24). Rick might make up some ground there.

120 of the 238 outstanding precincts are Orleans—I can’t imagine making up the remaining .85% to 50%.

Pelosi is a knat, but Obama is evil, so it’s Obama for the oven.

I’m thinking might as well write off the rest of the primaries and the general since it won’t be Newt, and the other two won’t beat Obama and concentrate on TEOTWAWKI.

Left eye is okay, next eye is April 19. If both eyes have cataracts, seeing right won’t happen until both are done. Eyes can’t sinc together right at the present time but it’s better since I got an eyeglass lens for left eye in eyeglasses. Really, it’s taking two months to get this finished - a real bother with seeing right.

No; don’t think they round-up, but I don’t know.

Don’t use CNN, just Google primary louisiana. They put the AP primary results right on the results page and they’re not rounded. 95% in and Santorum has 49.1%. This, of course, goes back to why I’ve been saying Gingrich staying in is handing Romney delegates. He’s preventing Santorum from getting to 50% and using the winner-take-all rules to shut Romney out of delegates. Gingrich is shooting himself in the foot by helping stop a convention floor fight from happening by helping Romney make sure he gets enough delegates to win outright.

I thought so, too, but am not finding that’s the case. What I’ve found is it’s proportional for candidates that get at least 25% of the vote....it gets confusing after those rules. But I did not find that Lousiana is one of those winner take all after 50%.
