All three candidates joined Tommy Tucker on WWL Radio in New Orleans this morning and discussed the topic of erosion in Louisiana affecting the nations energy supply. Governor Mitt Romney admitted to not being sufficiently briefed on the issue. Like Romney, Senator Santorum also admitted to not being familiar with the issue.
Newt, on the other hand, responded to the same question from Tucker by outlining a two point plan for maintaining and revitalizing Louisianas offshore drilling and energy industry, admitting it is an issue on which he has been briefed again and again.
Additionally, Newt gave a speech today in Port Fourchon, the Gulfs Energy Connection, on an extensive American energy plan and the need for an increase in offshore drilling, including in Louisiana.
Trip Gabriel from the New York Times tweeted about the huge difference in knowledge.
Just trying to save the Santorum haters a little time.
I dont care about post 8, or Newt, or Santorum. But every time I see your posts, you’re talking down to people, and it’s pretty annoying.
So you don’t care about any of this - and it annoys you - and yet you come around and feel the need to comment. Insanity?
See, thats the attitude right there.
Sorry but that’s kinda dumb, exactly how long do you think the average interview lasts?
If he had a plan, it should be posted someone, especially on newt.org.
Is that your only complaint, you expect every candidate to have every plan posted on their website?
Who’s your candidate, I want to compare your candidate’s ‘plans’ posted on his site against those plans currently posted on Newt’s site.
Let’s see if your candidate has a plan for the erosion control? I’d bet your candidate isn’t even aware of the issue much less have a plan for it.

My point was the article was stupid for bringing up a plan with no details on a very specific issue of erosion in La that a President cant fix.
