As Dick Cheney recovers from heart transplant surgery, questions are being raised about whether the former vice president is too old for a new heart.
Cheney, 71, who received the new heart Saturday at a hospital in Falls Church, Va., has been on the cardiac transplant list for more than 20 months.
Some medical centers will not perform a heart transplant on patient over 65, but other major centers will perform transplants on patients who are as old as 72.

“Questions are being raised?” By whom?
The bad English, passive-voice phrase “questions are being raised” is always a five-alarm warning for an agenda in the MSM.
Not one doctor or anyone else quoted in this story said, “Hey! I’m raising a question about whether Cheney is too old or too sick get a heart transplant.” No one said anything even close.
Here’s an honest rewrite of this “news story” for ABC: “We think Dick Cheney is too old and sick to get a heart transplant, so we tried to get some doctors to back us up. Not because we hate Dick Cheney! No, no! It’s because doctors agree with us that he’s too old and sic— oh, wait. They don’t. Well, we have journalism degrees, so we’re awfully smart, too. Also we hate Dick Cheney. Therefore, questions are being raised. By us.”
I hope he recovers sompletely and runs for President in 2016. Liberal heads would explode!

When is a lib not angry. They are pathetic shells of an otherwise opportunity to enjoy life and defend that happiness. They have no happiness, therefore nothing to defend.

That is the thing with privately funded care. Nobody but you and your doctor get a say. If someone else pays (government, insurance), they will have a lot of say.
