Trayvon Martin's ten day suspension
Charleston Conservative Examiner ^ | March 25, 2012 | Kyle Rogers

Posted on 03/25/2012 9:35:41 PM PDT by Kazan

A twitter message, allegedly sent by Trayvon's older brother, suggests Trayvon was suspended for assaulting a bus driver.

Trayvon Martin was on a suspension from school when he was tragically shot last February 26th. His school, Dr. Micheal M. Krop Senoir High School, has not given any details. His family has also evaded the issue. According to the Kansas City Star, the length of the suspension was ten days. This suggests a very serious offense.

It seems certainly possible that the lib’s might be walking straight into another Paul Wellstone Funeral situation, which backfired on them big time. Time will tell, but that is what this feels like right now as more and more of the story is revealed.

The politicizing of this unfortunate event is all for show because Obama and the Demo-party need villain(s) to energize their lackadaisical base to get to the voter polls this November. That’s the bottom line.

It would be providential if you are right and my intuition were wrong. But my guess is that mobs don't think when they grow crazy. Only their leaders influence their direction. This situation has obtained some serious sponsors. Unfortunately Santorum has chosen sides before the test of facts is complete.

The father said it wasn’t for anything violent. He had ‘plants’ that people did business with him for. The Martin family lawyer sealed the school records. Maybe he got caught with pot at school.

Now the pro-Trayvon numbers are dwindling here on FR.

I noticed that too.

'Bout time.

OK, Trayvon went to Dr. Michael M. Krop High School

Here starting on pg 27 it lists student codes in the handbook.

For a 10 day suspension, it appears he was at LEAST at a level 3 offense.

The fact that could have run home, is a relevant point. That is true, he could have.

At which point, if Zimmerman had entered the home, Martin could then have freely kicked the snot out of Zimmerman, without consequence.

That is the sort of relevant point I was looking for that does make a difference. Everything else, including Martin’s conduct at his home town, in his high school, is largely irrelevant to the case.

I hope the court case will use as much evidence as possible and the proper conclusions will be drawn.

He also could have knocked on any nearby door or hung up the phone and called his dad or the cops.

I've been following this story, trying to make some sense out of it & have read lots of blogs, etc & it's my understanding that when Zimmerman was told not to follow - he was heading back to his SUV, or whatever he was driving & that's when Trayvon attacked him from behind & tried to take his gun.

If that's true - it puts a new light on how the altercation started. Will be interesting to see the outcome when all the facts are presented.

That would seem to fit. You know, just think of the “reach” advantage of a guy that is 6’3” against a guy that is 5’9”.

The 1 - 10 days suspension falls into the level 3, but unauthorized area is a level 1. So, something isn’t adding up. It has to be more than an unauthorized area infraction. My guess would be assault (bus driver) or drugs.

"Is someone seriously (seriesly) trying to claim that this kid was suspended for being tardy? Good grief, they must think we are all idio"

First the (5-day) suspension was for fighting, then it was for being in an unauthorized area of the school. Now this. It just gets better and better.

Absolutely agree. I had posted this in repsone to another poster earlier today-

“Maybe he was walking back to his truck, and it wasn’t a back yard, it was an apartment walkway. Watch the local news report.

Furthermore, if Trayvon ran away from Zimmerman, why did he come back?

Could it not be argued at that point that it was Martin who was pursuing Zimmerman?

I think so.”

I have thought of another question as well. When martin noticed Zimmerman observing him, why did he run? Is not that suspicious behavior in and of itself?

It now appears that it was a 10 day suspension for being in an unauthorized area which MAY have had something to do with an altercation, possible assault, with a bus driver.

I am waiting for La Raza or some Latino Coalition to step in and defend Zimmerman. The media will quickly go into radio silence for fear of disenfranchising the Hispanic vote for Obama.

If this goes to trial, the defense would use this which goes to the violent nature of Trayvon Martin.

And rebuttal would then get Zimmerman's previous aggressive incidents and stalking into the record.

As I said, most of us, if we were in Martin’s place might have done the same thing under the same circumstances.

As I also said, if Zimmerman had made contact with Martin, from a safe distance, it’s unlikely any of this would have taken place.

If a town watch guy came up to me and asked questions, I'd answer then calmly. If he didn't accept my responses, I'd say "fine, let's get the cops here to settle this".

I doubt I'd find reason to beat the crap out of the guy.

I rather doubt they'd have any interest in defending a Hispanic who is half-Peruvian. And legal.
