That does not give Martin the right to assault Zimmerman. Clearly Zimmerman would have been better off not following Martin but Martin was not authorized to assault Zimmerman more than Zimmerman was not authorized to follow Martin.
As I said, most of us, if we were in Martin’s place might have done the same thing under the same circumstances.
As I also said, if Zimmerman had made contact with Martin, from a safe distance, it’s unlikely any of this would have taken place.
