This doesn’t seal it.

‘Zimmerman got out of his SUV to follow Trayvon on foot.’

That negates any self defense argument in my book.

Zimmerman then turned around and went back to his vehicle as told to do so and was approached from behind by Martin.

I was walking the other day and there were other people walking too.

If I attacked one of them... they wouldn’t have a right to self defense??

I guess I don’t understand your reasoning here. He didn’t (at least from this account)attack Trayvon it was the other way around... Does him getting out of his SUV make him “fair game”?

This article has also been scrubbed? There is “404 - Not found error” trying to reach the Sun-sentinel We live in interesting times! Who has the ability to do this?

In your book...

“Zimmerman will get lynched, as he deserves.”

In my book you should be ashamed to show your face on these threads.

In Colorado this would be a legal use of deadly force. If the story is true. Even if someone initiates a fight, if that person then withdraws and makes it clear he does not want to fight any more he has the right to use deadly force if the other person persues him and he feels like his life is in danger. So if Zimmerman followed him or even had words with him that doesn’t give Martin the right to attack him. If someone was on top of me bashing my head into concrete I’d shoot him too and worry about the consequences afterwards. If the story in the article is true.

So Zimmerman getting out of his evil SUV and following Trayvon is considered a crime? Can you point out which FL statute that falls under?

Of course it does, you are on multiple threads trying to lynch Zimmerman as it is...Why should more proof of self-defense get in the way of your sophistry?

So what? Your book is so defective, that you are ridiculed or pitied by those who have a basic understanding of the social contract.

What "book" would that be? Das Kapitol? Mien Kamph?

In MY book: The Declaration and Constitution, it says INNOCENT. UNTIL. PROVEN. GUILTY. BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT.

And say any thing you want about it, the one thing that IS TRUE: There is more than enough doubt to go around.

Other reports said he, Zimmerman, was walking back to his car when he was jumped! Let this thing play out and let's see what happens.

following is not a crime, assaulting is.

Here in FL we have a right to defense and when one is on the ground, being pummeled then you have that right by our laws here.
Witnesses also state this happened.

There are also conflicting witness reports. I am not willing to demonize Zimmerman as a racist thug who acted with deliberate malice in the shooting of Martin, but his account still leaves too many questions.

I am still of the opinion that he instigated a confrontation which escalated with a physical confrontation the end result being the death of Martin. Did actions by both men contribute to the death of Martin? Yes. Could this have been avoided if Zimmerman had not followed Martin? Yes.

er here in FL when someone is on the floor being punched and having your head whacked against the concrete then you have the right to defend yourself.

That is the law here , maybe not where you live, d you live in the north east by any chance?

Also could you tell me where it is illegal to get out of your car and follow someone with our FL laws?

Thank you.

Digging little deeper into the story reveals that according to police, Zimmerman was heading back to his SUV when Martin approached him from behind Words were exchanged and then Martin punched Zimmerman in the nose, breaking it and sending him to the ground. There he repeatedly slammed Zimmerman’s head into the ground and it is then that Zimmerman shot Martin the chest.

So, Zimmerman had already backed off. It was Martin who started the confrontation.

Clear of all charges IMHO.

It doesn’t in a court of law. He followed him, gave up following him and was headed back to his vehicle and was attacked. Hope you never served on a jury — or ever serve on one.

___________________________________________________________________________

Too bad your book (opinion) is meaningless in this issue.

Zimmerman was a legitimate member of a city sanctioned Neighborhood Watch program, he was acting as a member of that sanctioned watch on PRIVATE PROPERTY in a gated community he was member of in a high crime area, and there is no evidence that in any way threatened Martin in any way.

Martin was NOT a resident of the gated community, nor was his Father. It is reputed that his father's fiancee does own a home in the community.

By all witness accounts Martin attacked Zimmerman from behind while Zimmerman was walking back to his truck and then proceeded to beat Zimmerman severely while Zimmerman was on the ground helpless and screaming. Zimmerman sustained a broken nose and lacerations to his head in the attack.

If this holds up, Martin was 100% at fault.

The “ went out for skittles for a Basket ball game” story is inconsistent with the fact that Martins body reputedly went unidentified for three full days before being identified or claimed.

If there was shooting of a black teenager in a gated community and your black teenager went missing at the same time it is reasonable to assume that one would have some concerns about Martin not coming home in time for the game. There seems to be a lot to this story we are not hearing.
