Lowry -

"Zimmerman claims Martin attacked him from behind, and he fired in self-defense. But while he was on the line with 911, Zimmerman was the one chasing Martin....

"Zimmerman brought about an utterly unnecessary confrontation and then — in the most favorable interpretation of the facts for him — shot Martin when he began to lose a fistfight to him. "

The most 'favorable interpretation' Lowry? Really?

What I've read, Zimmerman lost Martin and it was Martin who doubled back to jump Zimmerman. Following a person versus one being the violent aggressor is a huge distinction.

The media just cannot spin enough on thi story, it seems:
The media & their version of anything these days makes me trust them less and less.

Now, almost every account says Zimmerman was ‘CHASING’ Martin, when it is clear from the call to 911 that he is FOLLOWING Martin.

BIG difference.

Then he temporarily loses sight of the kid.

IF the kid doubled back & attacked Zimmerman, that changes everything. Being attacked with a 20-24 ounce can of anything is capable of hurting you plenty hard.

Zimmerman has a broken nose. I NEVER heard of anyone breaking their own nose—it is very difficult to do to yourself & very painful.

Zimmerman also may have been struggling with Martin, his back on the grass, which may have left grass stains on the back of his shirt.

I have a bad feeling that this is another case like the Henry Gates case where all the blacks-—including the “Pres—ent himself is jumping to a conclusion. IMO, Barry the Imposter still owes a major apology to the Boston police....

Martin was on a 5 day suspension from school for being caught with an empty baggie with traces of Marijuana in it. Not exactly something ‘the little prince’ should have in his possession.

What is the rest of his background with school & any other record?

Zimmerman sure doesn’t seem like the local KKK dude.

More of this story is yet to come, & I won’t be surprised if it comes out entirely different.

Meanwhile, the Miamo Heat looked like gang members standing on the court in hoodies & with items written on their shoes.

I thought that both the NFL & the NBA had strict tules about “UNIFORMS” & any changes to such.

Didn’t an NFL player get fined for showing up in the wrong color socks a short time ago???

Hoodies on the court make them all look like gang member sheep.

Rich Lowry is one of the many reasons I stopped reading National Review Online. It has turned into “Weenie Establishment Types Online”...

Good grief. I no longer give the Romney-loving jerks at NRO the satisfaction of visiting their site. But this is really beyond belief.

Man, the number of people making a public showing of stepping on their cranks is something. This is darn good entertainment. It’ll be interesting to see how many are man enough to make as big a show of admitting error, as they do of stepping on their cranks.

So many of the writers about this event keep emphasizing that the 911 Operator told Zimmerman not to follow Martin.

This warning is AUTOMATIC.

It prevents lawsuits against the Police Department.

Don't these so called Journalists recognize that we the Public Citizens do not have to believe their Opinions when raw evidence and the facts on the Internet (GUARD INDEPENDENCE OF THE INTERNET TO YOUR DYING BREATH) and that their Opinions (Journalists) can be evaluated and tested against Facts available from other sources.
In this instance start with:

http://www.sanfordfl.gov/index.html

There is a lot of contemporaneous information there that does not comport with MSM and Lowery. Of particular interest read the home invasion/burglary and listen to the 911 reports.
