Obama has the middle class academic and techy Asians/whites locked up, as well as the public employees unions. They have grown in numbers relatively unnoticed over the years.

Obama's handlers are not stupid-- if they think they can ditch the blue collar white vote, they have a reason for believing that, and a demographic to replace them with.

Many Hispanics have no affinity for blacks at all, despite the false impression portrayed by the media for the 2008 election. They voted for him for the same reasons many whites did (gubmint freebies, etc.), but it certainly isn’t out of brotherhood with blacks. In fact, black Dems are losing their political grip on the party as more Hispanic Dems take their seats from them due to shifting demographics.

Here in NJ ALL of those groups are hurting; many of the public employees have been laid off (and their job skills often don’t translate well into the private sector), and many of the middle class jobs have left (probably permanently). Don’t underestimate the forces at work where Republicans won statewide offices one year after their states had voted for Obama in ‘08 (NJ, MA, VA) - the people are desperate. They were desperate enough to vote for Obama, and quickly realized (and now can see it more than ever) that he had no solutions at all.

He will have to battle in every single state; the mood of the country that elected him now works against him. Any Republican challenger should be a shoe-in (and the media is reacting as though they already know this).

I wish the GOP would repeat these exact words & use real life examples..this is the exact reason why those who voted for BO back in 2008 should not vote for him again.

Why can’t the GOP stay on this message???

The Left is overplaying their hand.

They think everyone is on the same page as historical - that this will be good to motivate the Black vote - which it will. He will get 95% ogf a Black vote he was going to get anyway.

And 5MM white folks who normally stay home will get off their butts and vote against him.

Blacks are also misplaying this - they are not reading the level of disatisfaction in white america - where basically - people are sick of this shit.

No popcorn for me. Some people are going to get hurt or maybe lose their homes. We have had people from the area on FR today. I wish them safety.

I found that pic on the Net. If I had time I would place that bandage on
the faces of everyone in a crowd, then send it to the alphabets.

“Why can’t the GOP stay on this message???”

They are, but it is delicate; they have to beat Obama without attacking him (because the media will not permit it). It is tough to campaign with one hand tied behind yor back, but that is exactly how they have to do it (relying on Rush & company to do the heavy lifting, which they can).

“Blacks are also misplaying this - they are not reading the level of disatisfaction in white america - where basically - people are sick of this shit.”

You’re right; unlike the days of MLK, where a lot of well-intentioned whites supported his cause and marched with him, we have descended to a point where whites wouldn’t even be safe at these demonstrations. White America has instead opted to abort Black America in the womb, and replace them with Hispanics with nowhere near the racial chip on the shoulder (which exists with some Mexicans, but is non-existent in the hordes of South Americans we’ve brought in).

Blacks don’t seem to understand what their white “allies” have done to a large part of their population; the fact that they were passed in numbers by Hispanics 10 years earlier than anticipated (2000, rather than 2010), in no small part due to our first “black president” signing the Welfare Reform law in 1996 (which put an immediate dent in their birthrate, despite their claims that they weren’t having “kids for cash”), seems lost on them.

With the exception of a lunatic fringe like Father Pfleger, white America couldn’t care less about Trayvon Martins, and doesn’t even pretend to anymore.

“Beat Obama, without attacking him”...similar to: slowly chisel away & eventually, it will crumble.

Well said my friend..

Thanks; the Repub candidates will have to borrow from Obama’s 2008 playbook and use proxies to attack the opponent. The Dems realize this, and are now attacking the proxies.

I would kick some bucks for a a live, 30 minute, coast to coast prime time TV infomercial on all three main US networks (whether they would carry it or not), by HERMAN CAIN to address the President to stop egging this situation on and calm people down and get the facts. It would be some expensive air time, but VERY WORTH IT.

Here is where Herman Cain could maybe have an impact nationwide, whereas he could not achieve it nationwide (in a sustained manner)....
