Being killed for attacking another person from behind, punching the victim to the ground and then slamming the victim’s head against the concrete sidewalk is NOT A TRAGEDY.
Trayvon’s death was the consequence of the acts deliberately committed by the “dearly departed”.

If GZ didn’t have a gun, he might be in the hospital or morgue right now.

Yes, indeed. As The Duke, John Wayne, said: “Life is hard, but it's harder if you're stupid.”

IMO, the real “tragedy” here is the current efforts to scapegoat Mr. Zimmerman. On the streets, in the media, and in some cases, right here on FR.
If the DA and the police dept. had something on Mr. Zimmerman, I’m sure they would have arrested him already. That they haven’t in the face of this storm tells me that they know it’s not in anyone’s best interest to “comply” with the mob’s demands.

Being killed for attacking another person from behind, Mr. Zimmerman did not say he was attacked from behind. He said he was approached from behind, then they exchanged words, then he was was punched by Martin.
