Obama told us what he would do; before the 2008 election. People didn’t dig deep enough:

Well of course. We have to stop the rising of the oceans and allow the planet to heal.

We have to have wind, biofuels, solar, ocean waves, and who knows what else. But not any evil fossil fuels.

(sarcasm)

At some point I would love to see an election year in which liberalism is the major campaign issue. I would love to see us talk about whether liberal solutions to our major problems have worked. Let’s go back to the Great Society and even before. Let’s review all of the liberal programs implemented, and see if they worked out the way we were told they would. Let’s talk about if liberal solutions to our problems have worked.

Let’s also look at so many of our major cities, which have been governed by liberals for many decades. Let’s see if liberalism has helped these places.

I feel that liberals are never called to account for the failures of liberalism, and would appreciate this being brought up in political campaigns, as voters are asked to choose who to vote for.

why is the EPA apparently out of control? Why is the EPA allowed to just decree regulations, with no input from Congress or anyone else?

Obama’s “turn them into a 3rd world country, keep them freezing, broke and hungry and they’ll obey anything” energy program. Hey—it has worked in Africa for decades, it’ll work here.

While this is an 'in your face' shot at coal and coal fired electrical generation, it is also a roundhouse aimed at Natural Gas. Much of flyover country heats the home with Natural Gas, and industry uses it as a feedstock and fuel as well.

Attack fracking, reduce the supply and increase the demand (for electrical generation), shut down more drilling under some ludicrous excuse, and we're on the ropes, people.

Americans had better understand they can't count on government assistance, either, because we're broke.

These peckerwoods have painted America into a corner, energy wise, and only getting them the heck out of office and reversing their nonsense is going to get us out.

...Congress needs to put shackles on this EPA before working-class families have to start lighting candles rather than flipping on the light switch.

If that's what it takes, along with $6/gal gasoline, so be it.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

"Now he is trying to ban the Chevy Volt."

But why? After all it doesn't pollute, you just plug it into the wall. (Do I really need a sarcasm tag?)

When the tables turn, they need to be made a public example of, for their bureaucratic zealotry, and cut down to size.
