Attn Freepers:
I refuse to watch the state-run, liberal-left, lame-stream, progressive-communist media. However, I would appreciate if a Freeper who does indulge in Major Network News, to advise me of exactly how the state-run media is reporting this story. Are they spinning it, as usual? Or have they chose to totally ignore the story and its impact on America?
You can bet your last buck that media will virtually ignore this - and they will, unless there is a huge public outcry.
THIS is perfect fodder for GOP candidates to take to the microphone... the big question is, will they??

Last night, NBC Nightly used it as a “ha ha” story.
I watch a little msn from time to time mostly for the laughs and the whole keep you enemies closer deal. I haven’t heard anything about this story and doubt that anyone will report it. Unless, the tape leaks which conversely you will probably hear of some poor reporter losing his head in a car accident on the beltway. Either way Obama will be protected by the msm.
It’s getting a fair amount of play here in Australia...
Last night our local affiliate touched on it in passing (maybe because the world press is all over the story?). They glossed over it with a tone of light amusement, portraying the incident as just another entertaining moment in the president's day.
One avenue of action is to limit your spending to essentials, particularly when it comes to products advertised on the Major TV networks.
Does two things:
reduces their revenue streams,
and two:
reduces those vendors who advertise on the aO Bama supported news.
