Do you have any guesses about what it could be? Anything else odd about the sounds?
No one has a clue. We’re on a soft field airstrip, so we’re used to flyovers and the occasional helicopter, but nothing sounded like this. The odd thing was the utter lack of structural vibration.
I thought at first I was hearing a BNSF train off in the distance, but no train ever sounded like that.
