I can't wait to NOT vote for mitt. mitt and his staff HATE Conservatives with a hot passion. His minions set out in mid Sep08 to destroy Palin. mitt has his evil staff out destroying Conservatives ever since.
After all that, to have the elites and their foolish supporters expect Constitution loving Conservatives to vote for mitt is beyond laughable.
Mitt would do NOTHING at all to turn our Republic towards Liberty. Unlike mitt, Obama is honest enough to NEVER lie and run as a Conservative.
The more people cajole and press for Conservatives to vote for mitt, the more determined I am to do my best to convince everyone I know NOT to cast a vote for that fraud.
Pout? That viewpoint is insulting to those of us with strong Conservative principles.
It is the thinking that you and untold other foolish Republicans have that convinces the elites they can shove a Liberal down our throats.
I look in the mirror and feel very content and very much at peace knowing that I will not betray our Constitution and vote for fraudulent mitt.

You make an important point here.
While many consider Rush to be—on a basic level—an ideological guru who presents his ideas in a way that is highly entertaining, the truth is Rush is more fundamentally an entertainer who makes use of conservative ideas for his performance.
The ugly part of this is that what Rush claims are his first principles—those of American conservatism—are in fact second in importance to his agenda as an entertainer.
So in a very basic sense, Rush is no different from Bill Maher or Rosie O’Donnell.
I know this has been acknowledged for a long time, at times by posters on this forum, and in my denial I have argued against them. Today I plead guilty to the crime of holding on to my ignorance for too long.
