House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) is expected to endorse Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney before Wisconsin's GOP primary next Tuesday, according to media reports.
Ryan would be the latest in a string of high-profile endorsements for Romney this week, as party leaders have increasingly coalesced around the former Massachusetts governor's campaign. The Wisconsin lawmaker would join popular freshman Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and former president George H. W. Bush in signaling support for Romney this week.

I’m not giving sKerry Romney one thin dime, let alone a vote. All my time and money will go down ticket to the conservative candidates for the Hill. Neither Romney nor Obama will get rid of fascist O’deathcare, I’m not voting for either one of them...period.
Well, you sorta seem to have your mind made up :) I'm sticking with Newt till romney is the official nominee, and then will vote for him out of duty and care for my country. romney is who he is, he doesn't hate America. I believe that much about him.

And those that want to dictate to everyone exactly how they should live their lives (as they interpret it via their faith) sacrifice our ‘Family, Country, Life and Liberty’ at it’s expense.
Nor does it promote religion, except as an object of scorn. Religion does it’s best without the heavy hand of government (for or against). That is why we are such a religious nation, for there was/is no government sponsorship. And that forced our religions to either sink or swim based on their own efforts.
IE: The competition between religions and individual churches made them better.
If you want to see government and religion intertwined, just look at Europe, with their state churches. Most of the continent is d@#n near atheist.

Yep, that's the way to go. I've been saying that for months (you can check my posting history). As much as I was pushing for Newt as a fallback, and will gladly vote for him if he's the nominee, my belief is that Palin is the best available, running or otherwise.
It's pretty disappointing. especially because they probably know, at least some of them, that Newt is the only man for the job...

It will be an election where only a handful of states will make or break Romney. The commie union states are gone ie Ohio, Wisconsin, Nevada.. Any of the GOP candidates have to win at the least Florida.
Talk all you want about how we have to get behind Romney it does not matter, the commie unions will take enough states for Obama...

A vote for Romney is a vote against everything conservatism stands for. It is every bit as bad as a vote for Obama since you get the same result. A liberal. Either way America is toast.
Sticking with one’s principles is what this country was founded upon - regardless of the outcome. I defy any “I will vote for Romney because...” type to factually refute that statement.
Anyone willing to support a man that supports gay marriage, abortion et all is no conservative and religion has squat to do with it. Nor can they claim otherwise based on conservative principles.
Bottom line. Fear rules them. Not what is right, not what is just. Fear. The FEAR of Obama will lead them to vote for a man with a track record of hostility to conservatives every bit as great as Obama.
His record does not lie. Yet many here willingly lie to themselves. Because the truth scares them so much.
And as his been said, this site in it’s introductory statement BEGINS with “God”. Romney begins, and ends with “Mitt”.
Personally I’ll write in Palin, Newt or myself before I vote Romney. And the cards can fall where they may. On a simmilar thread a few days back a man in fear of Obama said that was a “John Wayne” attitude or some such and this was the real world.
“MY” real world does not include voting for liberals even if there’s official GOP support involved. My real world is one where integrity matters and cowards do not. And lastly, my real world is a place where a country willing to vote for a liberal in republican clothing is not the America I want, nor remember.

Well, I’ve decided to vote for him. My dedication to Governor Rick Perry caused me to respect his endorsement of Newt. I supported Newt luke—warmly until it became obvious he couldn’t pull it off. I’ll do what I can to help Romney beat the Democrat. I trust things will be pounded out at the convention to present a strong platform. I’m hoping for Rand Paul to be named to the ticket. It also becomes more and more important to elect a conservative congress. I’m just hoping for the whole package.

Best way we grassroots folks can help Rick Santorum is to support him ourselves, including calling talk shows that air in Wisconsin (or any upcoming primary state), volunteering for Rick, etc..
While I like Paul Ryan, his endorsement doesn’t mean a thing to me, and I think you, me and others, will make our own decisions.
Another thing, it’s getting annoying that all of the establishment Republicans are endorsing Romney, all at once, and it will turn many people off, if they are like me. I wonder: Are they being pressured to endorse Romney?
Tell yourself whatever you want. Vote number 3 will never win and takes a vote away from vote 1. That means 1 vote less than Obama will have to beat.
The majority of your party has spoken. Stop acting like a spoiled little child. That’s what the democrats did in 2000 and it got Bush elected.. thankfully over Gore.
You want to do the opposite go right ahead.. but don’t think you accomplished anything other than helping the democrats.
