The choice is Romney vs. Obama. It’s a done deal, even Newt is saying it’s so.

When it was early in the primary season, I was ok with anybody but Romney. I voted Gingrich. But that ship has sailed.

Given that, someone convince me that 4 more years of Obama is better. I’d love to hear the logic that will tell me, in light of what we’ve seen from Obama, especially in the last few months, that 4 more years of his Marxist trash is better than Romney.

I'm doubtful I will convince you of anything, but there is one thing I can think of that is infinitely more dangerous to the survival of this free republic than the threat of the reelection of Barack Obama:

The casting away of all principle by those who call themselves "conservative."

We can't survive that as a free people.

It will be Romney vs Obama. I will vote for Romney, as being slightly less bad than Obama.

But I cannot imagine working to get out the vote for him. There is a good chance my congressional district will have a solid conservative running in the House election. It is a new district, with no incumbent (Gabby Giffords won the last time, but she is out & the district has been redrawn). If the House nominee is anyone besides Sally McNulty, I will donate time and money to help him get elected.

But Romney? I honestly didn’t believe a liberal like Mitt would win the nomination. I will have a very hard time making my arm pull the lever for someone who supports fudge-packing rights...

I'm not even going to try. Four more years of Obama would be a disaster for this country, and I'm not using hyperbole. Romney was my last choice, but by God, if he's the nominee I'm behind him and ready to fight. Any so-called conservative who sits this one out is playing for the other side, plain and simple.

If anyone tries, just ask them this: Who would you rather have appointing federal judges for the next four years, Romney or Obama?

And who would you rather have negotiating foreign treaties for the next four years, Romney or Obama?

What a mess that it all has to come down to this.
