MSNBC showed this image as part of the newer video footage. Ron Allen, investigative reporter from the Washington Post, said there are abrasions to the back of his head.

The amazing part, it was shown on MSNBC.
It also appears to be shaved which confirms the EMTs worked on him (unless he has a very odd back-of-head receding hairline).

Seems obvious to me that he drew those marks with a sharpie before the officers showed up...

As the truth slowly leaks out. NBC should be sued for their irresponsible reporting. They have been helping stir the pot for civil unrest.

I don’t know how stupid the race baiters have to be to have gone all over TV and the internet declaring there were no injuries in what was obviously a poor quality video.
There will be testimony from people who treated those wounds and likely very clear pictures coming out.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the media would behave this despicably but I have to admit it is somewhat shocking the lengths they have gone on this one. I suspect the sympathies of the vast majority will be with Zimmerman before long.
It’s strange, MSNBC has that ‘liar’ reputation - shared with NBC... doctored police tapes and all...
NBC News got caught with their credibility down around their ankles.
Now, MSNBC is trying to do damage control.
Less amazing is the fact that subsequent programming still showed the police video and still commented about "no apparent injuries" while neglecting to show this report. Sickening.

I just heard on WFTV that the left is sending out robocalls to meet at Sanford tomorrow and “Bring your Hoodie”....They interviewed one shop owner (a woman) who was ticked and said Sharpton calling for a peaceful rally but a boycott of businesses if they don’t arrest Zimmerman must mean he is calling for violence.

I live 10 miles from Sanford.
I received one call yesterday and two today, even though I’m on a so called “do not call list”
The first today was male who was stumbling/reading and sometimes halting his invite. The second was a young sounding, female, saying something to the affect she was a student and was inviting all to join in the march to the Police station. All three calls were recordings and robo called, as I’m in the 407 area code.
I recorded the calls on my service. I was thinking of suing the NAACP, who are behind the calls but cant find any Non-Obama attorneys! :^}
Trying to cover for the damage Sharpton has done.
I have long hair, and occasionaly take a head injury. It's a bloody mess, and I usually wind up with a shaved spot if it needs stitches. Can't wash the hair for a few days until the wound heals a bit, and I carry bloody hair until I can wash it.
All in all, it's a mess after an injury, and doesn't slow down or soften blunt or sharp impacts at all.

No. But it is likely to be an issue at trial, and the defense would try to get this admitted as evidence. There would be an admissibility battle over it, but that battle would be "public" - not that the media would report it.
