Well I don’t think much of Van Jones, but that’s an interesting point about Condi Rice. It would definitely shake things up.

IMO, I don’t think Christie will ‘play’ well outside the Tri-State area.

Christie is more tested than Rubio? Don’t know about that. They have both been through exactly one statewide campaign, Rubio in a bigger state with a bigger population and many more TV markets.

Governors have more administrative experience than Senators. That's in the nature of the positions. So someone who's been Governor for two years has more experience than someone who's been a Senator for one.

Christie's also older, and in Ann's eyes, his earlier experience as US Attorney probably trumps Rubio's in the State Legislature. Either would probably complement Romney, appealing to groups Romney would have a harder time with.

Kyl, by contrast, comes across as pretty white bread, more like Romney than different. No ethnic appeal.

While I like Rubio a lot, he is NOT natural born.

Not going into the birther thing...

So it's Romney/Rubio on election night....Obama/Biden...Hillary

You going to not vote for them ...because Rubio parents were born in another country yet he is a citizen born in this country and a current US Senator ?

Please don't clog up the thread with links upon links why birthers are right....in the end it's either them or Obama as POTUS if mittens picks him and he accepts

I won’t go into the facts that Rubio is NOT a NBC based on his parents citizenship at the time of his birth, But I WILL NOT vote for a ticket that has someone on it that is not eligible under the Constitution. Just because the Dems do it is not excuse for the Repubs to also violate the Constitution.

So, if Rubio is on the ticket, I vote for a third party or do not vote for the Presidential ticket.

If she thinks it’s important to select Kyle because he’s “been tested; he’s steady”, then how would she justify selecting Christie. Wasn’t he elected the same year as Rubio?

Oh, good. I can't think of a better way to lose an election.

There's two issues, important ones, that the GOP can't touch with a Romney/Rubio ticket - Obamacare and the birther issue. Romneycare will be a millstone around Romney's neck and now with Rubio we're neutered on the natural-born citizen requirement.

Kevin, the lost bunny of the apocalypse, is starting to look pretty good now...

Don't worry - - Obama is not going to run either.

While voting for the Romney GOP ticket is odious...

You are basically voting for Obama....if you vote third party..

I know...I'd love to vote third party also for a real conservative and actually be meaningful...but if I'm stuck with a choice between Romney/Rubio and asshat Zero.....

Sometimes reality sucks...

From your lips to Gods ear...

A narcissistic sociopath like Obama giving up the most powerful position in the world...

I'd really love to hear your theory on that...

“Frankly, it would be much easier for a Conservative to run against BOTH Obama and Romney”

I’ve been saying that since October. We have 40%, and we can’t get to 51.
Romney is PERFECT to split the 60% parasite-brain dead-libtard coalition.

If not now, when?

The birther issue is meaningless to 95 percent of the voting public....

The left and their lapdog media has been pretty successful into making it a KOOK issue and the GOP could care less...

Run on the birther issue and loss the very good possibility of winning the Senate and four more years of Obama
