Trayvon Martin Update: Voice Experts on 911 Call, Neighbor Defends Zimmerman

Trayvon Martin Update. Today a second rally, in as many days, was held for Trayvon Martin. Martin’s parents, in their first major appearance since the death of their son, were joined by civil rights leaders in demanding justice for their son, Trayvon.

Trayvon Martin Update – Second Rally in Sanford in Two Days

The city of Sanford, Florida, is a community of about 54,000, which has now become famous. Thousands of members of the media, as well as activists, protesters, and celebrities have descended on the city as demands for the arrest of George Zimmerman increase.

As Trayvon’s family, activists, celebrities and ordinary folks across the country call for Zimmerman’s arrest, the community has been overwhelmed with news trucks, reporters, high-profile civil rights leaders including Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and thousands of protesters.

Although civil rights leader Al Sharpton is comparing Sanford to a modern-day Selma or Birmingham, most residents of Sanford do not share his assessment of race relations in the city.

In fact, Sharpton and other civil rights leaders involved in the Sanford protests, including the media, have drawn fire for their attempts to drag Americans back 50-years to the height of racial division and unrest in the nation.

News Contributor Juan Williams, formerly with NPR and now with Fox News, stated the following:

“Nobody says a word that over half of the murders in the United States are of black people and 90% of them are committed by other black people. What is this carnage in the black community, in Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, every day of the week? And nobody has a march for them… This is the civil rights challenge of this generation yet people want to replay what happened 50 years ago, Chris.“

Very simple on the so call voice match software...there is someone yelling for help on that tape...Its either Zimmerman or Martin... the person that placed the 911 call states it was Zimmerman....

So to counter it they need to provide evidence it is Martin yelling to counter two witness's...Zimmerman & the person that placed the 911 call...so does a 48 % it Zimmerman vs no % its Martin be because not tested yet disprove it Zimmerman per two witness's?...

Of course, he wouldn’t ‘bruise’ his knuckles by pounding Z’s head on the ground

Read the police report if you want true information.

Selma started White Guilt—Thats what gave Black politicians and race hustlers power and wealth. White guilt doesn’t reach into the Latino community. White guilt got Obama elected—and he needs it now if he and his crew are to stand a chance to win 4 more years. This whole thing and Zimmerman’s coming murder is all about power and keeping the White House.
I have no White Guilt—Any guilt was paid for by my Great great grandfather who fell wearing Union Blue at the Crater—dying beside black soldiers who fought and gave their lives for freedom.

He was reportedly punching him, too, thus the knuckles would probably have been bruised. I have read the police report.

What if Martin palm heeled Zimmerman in the nose?

How about a ridge hand?

What if Zimmerman’s nose offered no match for Trayvon’s knuckles and didn’t mark them at all?

I have no idea what happened. I’m just explaining why the quote from the funeral director - if it’s true (and there’s so much misinformation spreading around that who knows) - would not indicate that Martin was doing all the punching/hitting.

Blood stops flowing when you’re dead, thus, bruising may not show.

I have seen it claimed that one doesn’t form bruises once the heart stops beating. Kinda makes sense.

Trayvon was dead within seconds of the supposed whooping he was giving.

The funeral director is black and probably serves the black community. He knows where his bread is buttered. Also, I would assume any funeral director with any kind of professional integrity would refuse to discuss the condition of any remains. I wonder if he violated any code of conduct for morticians

That’s what I thought. The funeral director at the very least had to have the approval of the family to speak to the press, but since this is an ongoing investigation, I would think a gag order should have been put in place.

Tawana Brawley, Duke Lacrosse, Trayvon Martin. Everyone should get used to saying that because “none of these things are not like the other.”

You would be assuming correctly.

Yes he did.

I was the Executive Secretary/Association Manager for a state Funeral Director's Association for a number of years, and what this guy did was out right wrong. I was good friends with a number of members of the group, plus I worked for them, and never did I hear them discussing conditions of remains, and most especially when there was a criminal investigation ongoing in regard to the death. It just wasn't done.

Mine was a partial. It did not mention any of the actual fighting.

Guess I spouted too soon. I would like to read the one you read tho.

OK, the way I wrote my post makes it sound as if I saw that information in the police report. I was just adding that, yes, I’d read the police report. But, I think I read only the partial police report myself.

I saw the information about punching reported somewhere else... that a witness reported punching. But, it turns out, Zimmerman himself reported being punched just once:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2863974/posts

For the record, I’m not one of the people who sees Zimmerman as a hero, and Martin didn’t seem to be living the life of a saint himself. There are too many questions to this case.
