Potlatch, UCANSEE2

Potlatch, thanks for saying what went thru my mind when I read UCANSEE2’s comment.

UCANSEE2,

I have been deaf/hard of hearing since birth.

I see/ notice things that others don’t .... but that only goes so far.

The operative word for this handicap is ISOLATION.

(we now return to regular programming )

Pictures coming out now put the mainstream media squarely in the dunces seat....
If any more CR@p happens and people are hurt as a result of the media (and baiters) instigation, they should be held accountable and charges brought against them.
Starting with each “reporter”.

to wit, as an angry teen, I punched thru a (drywall) wall, both sides, in one punch, and did not break the skin on my knuckles.

That's nothing. As an angry infant, I once punched through a M1A2 Abrams Tank.

Both sides.

“What I was talking about in the car accident, was a weird sort of light the doctor passed over my skin to look for already appearing discoloration.”

Maybe infrared light? I know in photography, the infrared looks deeper into the skin layers. Surface skin looks quite normal but with infrared photography, the skin looks soft and not quite as wrinkled or damaged at all.

I like infrared photography when I need a portrait made! And, just think - drivers’ licenses would be a dream come true!

Doesn’t the law law require a coroner’s report from an autopsy on this sort of case?

No disrespect to the mortician - but morticians are not forensic scientists, despite extensive experience with the dead.

If in the heart that might explain no postmortem bruising, if I understand a few Freeper posts upthread.

You once you're dead, you don't bruise, bleed (other than passive leaking from a wound), or suffer edema. That's how they were able to determine my nephew died within minutes of an auto accident.

Okay, so why would the media take the funeral director’s statement as an indication in support of the Martin kid? Forget the obvious answer, let’s give them credit they are acting responsibly. What is the media seeing or are they just not thinking it through?

They thought it would help their side. It does not. the injuries to zimmerman are corroborated fact. (police reports, video, eyewitnesses)

OTOH the fact that the funeral director saw no bruises or cuts on Martin's face or chest shows he was the instigator and the the one in control of the fight right up until he was shot in self defense.

The family said he went to 7-Eleven and the other places are still quite some distance away. The closest is a couple miles and all are across a busy highway IIRC. It was supposedly raining, too. Someone must have really had the jones for some candy and tea to go to all that trouble. Or was skittles and AZ tea, as another FReeper pointed out, street names for drugs and he was hiding them in his waistband when he approached Z? I still want to know what was in his waistband and where the candy and drink were during the incident. We know he had cell phone because he was talking to his gf and supposedly he had wallet to purchase said items so those filled up his pockets to some extent. The hoodie could have held the items but we’ve heard nothing about them being in police custody so do they really exist or is this yet another lie to make him the innocent angel. Besides, was was supposed to have been grounded but then dad says (the story flip flops) he let him go but dad was clueless of anything until later the next day when he thought since he couldn’t find him that he’d been arrested. Really? So, does the little angel have a habit of getting hauled in? Then there’s the question of if the police did or didn’t check M’s cell phone for “dad’s cell” to notify the family and surely he’d have noticed all the lights and commotion when he came in from his date so what was dad doing all night? I was grounded half my childhood and I’ve grounded my own kids and this doesn’t sound like any grounding I’ve ever heard of, but then I never walked more than a couple blocks for candy and never bashed anyone’s head into the ground. Sorry, but M’s side makes less sense every hour whereas Z’s side does more and more.

The police probably would have bagged his hands at the scene for forensic purposes. The funeral director would have gotten a body whose hands had been treated to secure trace evidence. Trayvon's hands may have come to him considerably cleaner than they were at the scene.

if Zimmerman had hit martin, it would have been when Martin was alive. and bruising or a cut would have occurred.

A coroner or MEs stestimony would be far better, but IMO this evidence shows Martin was the agressor and was in control of the fight up until he was shot.

when the body was at the funeral home, this director thought this particular boy were any special person and, so, really has any clear memory of his condition— just knowing that, some day, there would be all this publicity about this boy. Right??

Bingo! We have a winner!

Thanks, Cubs Fan, for the explanation.

Of course, I would have known this if I had read the thread rather than knee-jerking a post before I knew what I was talking about.

Mea culpa and my bad!

Have a lovely day, FRiend.

Looks like the pic came from:

http://bluecollarphilosophy.com/2012/03/does-close-up-of-george-zimmermans-head-show-a-head-wound-video/

“A zoomed in picture of George Zimmerman’s head may show a head wound that an earlier video did not show. It also sounds like there may be some pictures of Zimmerman’s wounds.”

Looks like a head wound to me.

I think charges should already be filed against New Black Panther Party.

Bunch of thugs put out a bounty notice of $10,000 for anyone bringing in
Zimmerman - “Dead or Alive.”

There have to be a whole bunch of crimes with this.

Maybe too many people feeling there would be an even greater retribution by NBPP if they were charged with anything.

And, there probably would. Bounty hunting thugs.

In the video, a LEO is seen putting something in the cruiser. I think it was the car that Zimmerman came out of.

Maybe evidence was put in trunk to be logged asap. Unlike the yakkity yak funeral director, I don't think police have mentioned what was in the trunk.

May have been nothing at all related. Or, maybe so.

I really appreciate your comment butterdezillion. None of us knows what something entails until we suffer it ourselves. I think we have grown callous because we're all under stress with our country in dire trouble.

It's not fun not to be able to enjoy family visits because you can't understand all the talk. It's awful to have a young grandchild wonder why you can't understand what they say. You walk around corners or step back and bump into people you didn't ‘hear’ were there.

You can't use a cellphone, and barely a regular phone - even with digital hearing aids. You can't post on a ‘debate’ thread and try to watch the debate too because you have to read captioning. I can't enjoy the music I once loved.

I haven't attended large functions in years because I can't hear in a crowd. I can't hear the priest at a funeral or a wedding.... Sorry to be so off topic, but maybe it will educate those who don't have a clue. - And I thank you for your understanding.

ISOLATION. Yes, I totally agree.

I never meant to offend you. The phrase 'even the darkest cloud has a silver lining' comes to mind.

I still won't 'pity' you. You probably see things everyday that most of us miss.

Given the text of the Funeral Director's speech, we were both lucky to miss it.

Deafness hasn't 'handicapped' your ability to communicate in written form, so I treat you as an equal, who can take a joke.

Heck, I'm stupid, and there is no cure for that.

Better to be deaf due to conditions out of your control, than to be willingly deaf.

Most people out there are deaf, dumb, and blind, willingly. Them, I pity.

The operative word for this handicap is ISOLATION.

Which makes FR so great. Here, you are not isolated, nor handicapped.
