Each of the alphabet media do the same selective editing, either for tv, web, or print. Are we really surprised at this? I think not as they do it openly and without repercussions.

I just assume they all (leftists) lie all the time about everything that comes out of their cakeholes. If I’m interested in something I hear (rarely), I check an independent source (starting right here on F.R.).
Works pretty well...
