Many have suffered before us before coming to this, and we are lucky to see a conclusion forming at hand sooner rather than later.
Anecdotal:
A lot of people have been talking to me recently about the Big Bang.
I’m a big science nut. It’s been a passion of mine since I was a kid - I’m a nerd. Carl Sagan is a hero of mine.
But I do not believe in the Big Bang. And it seems that all the godless and secular that approach me do. I remind them how it ridiculous it is to not believe that there is a God, A god who is clearly stated as not looking like anyone, or anything, is ridiculous to them - But the idea that all the matter in the universe was somehow compressed into a tiny atom that suddenly, with no reason, just exploded. And that there was nothing before that either.
They’ve been shutting up.
They are liberals when they mean coexist, they mean coexist with my money and that I shouldn’t mind.
As a confessional Lutheran my beliefs have boundaries as spelled out in the A.D. 1530 Confession of Augsburg:
Article I: Of God.
1] Our Churches, with common consent, do teach that the decree of the Council of Nicaea concerning the Unity of the Divine Essence and concerning the Three Persons, is true and to be believed without any doubting; 2] that is to say, there is one Divine Essence which is called and which is God: eternal, without body, without parts, of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness, the Maker and Preserver of all things, visible and invisible; and 3] yet there are three Persons, of the same essence and power, who also are coeternal, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. And the term "person" 4] they use as the Fathers have used it, to signify, not a part or quality in another, but that which subsists of itself.
5] They condemn all heresies which have sprung up against this article, as the Manichaeans, who assumed two principles, one Good and the other Evil: also the Valentinians, Arians, Eunomians, Mohammedans, and all such. 6] They condemn also the Samosatenes, old and new, who, contending that there is but one Person, sophistically and impiously argue that the Word and the Holy Ghost are not distinct Persons, but that "Word" signifies a spoken word, and "Spirit" signifies motion created in things.
Just point out to anyone with a Coexist emblem that they are attacking the beliefs of Islam by including Islam in their Coexist group, and that Muslims kill people who they believe are trying to make Islam “coexist” with anything, and ask them if they’ve ever demanded to a Muslim that they “coexist” with other religions or ideology.
Then watch their faces as they try to answer.
For more fun, reassure them. Tell them “hey, don’t worry, Catholics and Christians and Hindus and Taoists and Buddhists won’t kill you for what you’re doing, so you don’t have to worry about them. All you have to do is somehow win over the Muslims - that’s only one religion. So focus on them. focus on the Muslims. Do some New Age outreach sharing. Think positive thoughts, see them in white light, dissolve their misunderstood cultural fears into the light and love of your positive thinking.
No prob, dude!
Bwhahahahahahahahahaha!
I am also fascinated with science but to me the Big Bang is evidence of God’s wonder and beauty because out of nothing the entire Universe was created. The secular left celebrates science but does not want to talk about what the Big Bang implies which is creation.
Whenever an angel came to someone in the Bible, the FIRST thing the angel did was to tell the person not to be afraid and that lifted any fear. However, Muhammad was terrified of the "angel" who visited him and remained so for days after, the logical conclusion is that he was visited by Satan.

Funny, the Big Bang always made sense to me as a Christian. God raised his mighty hands and KABLAMY!
Great!
A lot of parallels also to the “angelic” visitation to Joseph Smith.
Ping to post # 9.
I consider myself a scientific Christian. Science is built upon cause and effect. And yes, nobody can tell me how the original mass came to be, nor why it suddenly, absent apparently of any outside Force, went critical. But I know.
