LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles police say burglars who broke into a Hancock Park home stole a safe believed to contain $10 million in cash, jewelry and other items.
A Police Department statement Monday says investigators believe crooks jumped a security gate and smashed a glass side door to enter the home in the wealthy neighborhood on March 16.

I learned on “Storage Wars” that any safe, no matter how big. can be broken into in a matter of minutes.
All a lock can do is keep an honest man honest. A lock will not keep out a real thief.

You know, part of me wondered if taking that safe was going to be worth it....but now that the ‘news’ has told be there’s $10mil inside, I’m happy I did. /s

You put in a small safe with nothing of real value in it where it can be found easily and hide the real one with the valuables.

Its in Hancock Park and its in a real nice place in LA. I used to date someone from there.
Then there was that case in 1976 where the bankers needed three hours to break into their own safe ...
