Sky reminded me of 2001. That rolling rumble never stopped, told me something bad was coming long before the sirens went off.
Going to be an interesting evening.
The worst of it has passed my location. I did a quick tour of the neighborhood (ok, it was a beer run) and a 12" tree was down with lots of debris partially blocking a local creek. It normally runs about 1" deep. It's 2.5 ft deep now and still rising. They will closing the bridge off in a few hours, I suspect.
I am grateful that we dodged most of the damage here. Prayers up for everyone else.
