It does look a bit like Ireland doesn’t it!
It’s the SS Great Britain, sat in the dry dock where it was built by Brunel in 1843.
IIRC the first ship to do the trans-Atlantic run on coal only, and arrive with fuel left in the hold, as well as the Australian route. In service for 43 years. The first large ship to be driven by a screw propeller.
It returned home in 1970, packed out with old mattresses.
The hull is like a sieve, and so the lower half of the hull is in a climate controlled cocoon.
Located in Bristol, (west coast.)

Thank you, Moose. It’s nice to know that about the ship. Lots of records broken there, so it’s probably happy to be resting at last.
