WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. The man who murdered a former Atlanta Braves pitcher in the 1990s was released from prison 10 years early, according to the Florida Department of Corrections. WPBF reports Neal Evans was charged in 1997 with the 1995 murder of 30-year-old Dave Shotkoski. Shotkoski was walking back to his hotel room while in spring training with the Braves in West Palm Beach, Florida, when he was gunned down as part of a botched robbery.
