Call me an ol’ softie (or a traitor to the cause), but I can live with the concept of kids who never known anything but America as their home being granted a pass on their parents’ misbehavior.

So can I, (in theory) but in reality, any system put in place will be abused and deliberately undermined by the left (as we see). And our country can't afford it.

That has been the case on all systems covering all topics since there first was a "left". We need to reduce the left to the point where they no longer matter. A daunting job.
