Read about “Mike the Headless Chicken.”

Link: http://www.miketheheadlesschicken.org/story.php

Mike’s head was chopped off in 1945 and lived 18 months. Life Magazine did a feature on Mike.

Cute story. It makes for a good school report for your kids.

Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:

Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.

Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.

BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their “fair” share of the American Dream.

What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?

Rick is kinda embarrassing himself at this point. He has no chance to win and yet gave a speech as if we were at halftime of a competitive primary. I heard him on Laura Ingraham this morning saying he only lost Wisconsin by 4. This is completely untrue since Rick actually lost 44.1% to 36.9% for a margin of defeat of 7.2% - which is pretty much precisely what the last few polls suggested would be the result. Santorum is gaining no ground whatsoever and might not even be able to eke out a win in his home state of PA (the one that rejected him by 18 points the last time he ran as the sitting Senator).

Oh, how I love that folksy, Andy Griffith image that old Carville puts on. Well, if Andy Griffith was brainless and spineless.

Rhetorical Q: Does this person ever do anything besides make snide, nasty comments about anyone with whom he does not agree?

I've never heard James Carville say anything without rancor, or calling someone a nasty name. Who in the heck pays his rent?

James Carville chose these colorful words to describe Rick Santorum after Mitt Romney swept three Republican primaries Tuesday: “He was like a chicken with his head chopped off. The chicken is dead. The only person that don’t know it is the chicken. ... [he] can flop around all he wants to [but] they’re not going to nominate him.”

This analogy is on what passes for serpenthead's mind because it describes the state that Hillary's machine has been in for the last 3.5 years since she was thrown off the bus.

Getting her back on the bus is the only thing on their plates. And it's going to be done by keeping her out of the public eye right up until the moment the chant starts up at the Rat convention for her, after Obama refuses to provide proper ID to pass the new State laws requiring proof of candidate natural born status.

And then she'll face straw-man Romney, just as she planned on facing her previous straw-man McCain (and just like McCain, Romney already knows he's supposed to throw it).

There will be plenty of closet Romneybots on FR masquerading either in total opposition to Rick and incessantly posting against him with nothing positive about anybody else (certainly they don’t openly praise Mitt-not just yet), or posing as Newt supporters, who will absolutely simply love this Carville quote.
