U.S. President Barack Obama has recently passed a message to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Washington Post reported on Friday, which signaled that the United States would agree to an Iranian civilian nuclear program if they proved they were not developing a nuclear bomb. According to David Ignatius, the Washington Post's senior columnist specializing in intelligence matters, Obama passed Khamenei the message through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who visited Tehran this week.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
of course he did...November is only an ACME rubber band away
Obama’s Passover gift to Israel.
Meanwhile he is sabotaging Israel’s plans to strike Iraq because he doesn’t want to hurt his reelection chances with the Left. How many Jews is he prepared to get killed to help his campaign?
Weekly atrocity (2) this week.
As many as it takes him.
Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. My understanding is that under the treaty all signatories are allowed to develop civilian nuclear energy, but must comply with IAEA inspections of all nuclear facilities. Thus, Iran is already allowed civilian nuclear energy. The problem with Iran has been that some of their nuclear sites were not declared to the IAEA, and others were not open for inspection.
Therefore, what is Zero really telling the mullahs? He knows they're allowed civilian nuclear energy, so he must actually be offering something else. And just what is that something else? That the US will accept Iranian nukes as long as they don't test them? Or something else equally nefarious and against the security interest of Israel and the US?
Only the Turkish PM (who is an Islamist by the way and supposedly Zero's BFF - can anyone explain why an Islamist is being entrust with secret US negotiations?) knows for sure.
Maybe Obama could but the U.S. can’t. Obama doesn’t speak for the country.
The US policy that has been in place for decades is that any nation that signs the non-proliferation treaty is entitled to civilian nukes, including Iran, who has signed the treaty.
So, who hasn't signed the treaty but have miltary nukes? Israel, India, Pakistan, and N Korea.
Well I heard the revolutionary guard is civilian as well don’tcha know.
Easy solution for Barry to send Israel down the tubes.
