OK—For the last time-— As a Conservative I have no problem with Obama’s Race (or half race as he’s half white) I would love to see a black man in the White House—Like Cain! Or Ms. Rice—hey even Bill Cosby. I object to his POLITICS—I don’t like his neo-Socialism and radical means of getting what he wants over the wishes of the American People of all colors. Nuff Said.
Actually, no. His father was half Arab and half African. His mother was white. That makes zero 1/4 black, 1/4 Arab and 1/2 white.
Uh... which makes him “black” by the usual rules.
The only color Dear Leader has that bothers me is his Commie Red.
For years, these racist scoundrels, like Martin Bashir, have been getting a pass from Republicans and conservatives, who positively cringe when they should call racists, “racist”, even when these racists are spouting horrible racial hatred and bias.
It is obvious why Republicans and conservatives, who frequently face *unfair* and *lying* accusations of racism, are so hesitant to call others racists. But when they actually *are* racists, they should be called racists to their face, and whenever their face pops up.
In fact, perhaps the most damning accusation of racism against Republicans and conservatives is not that *they* are racists, but that they do not condemn real racists, and thus tolerate racism “by omission”. That is, if you do not condemn *real* racism when you see it, you contribute to it and support it. You give it a platform.
So when you speak of Martin Bashir in the future, be sure to say, “the racist Martin Bashir”.
And when you speak of Jesse Jackson in the future, be sure to say, “the racist Jesse Jackson”.
And when you speak of Al Sharpton in the future, be sure to say, “the racist Al Sharpton”.
And there are so many more Democrats who cultivate their racism without criticism by Republicans and conservatives, who need to be called out about their racism.
Republicans called out Democrats when Democrats supported slavery. And when Democrats supported Jim Crow laws. And when Democrats supported segregation. Democrats need to be punished for their racism, their antisemitism, and all their other vile actions.
Don’t give them a pass, or you are part of the problem.

I am proud that so many more freepers today resist white guilt and all that it encompasses than was the case 12 years ago

I’m sick of the slave crap. SICK OF IT. I’m a Southerner and I’ll be the first to say it was wrong, but it ended 147 years ago. Black people, are you listening? GET THE HELL OVER IT. The Holocaust happened 70 years ago, but you don’t hear Jewish people constantly complaining (and they would have a right to!).
But why would you "love" to see a black man in the White House? Or red, or green, or plaid? Color shouldn't even matter in your preference. I would love to see a conservative there, and I don't care what color he is. Race is not a selling point for me.
